Prepare the selection

Exports should be limited to the records you intend to share. Review the selection before creating an export packet.

  1. 1 Search or filter for the records you need.
  2. 2 Select the conversations, media, notes, or records to include.
  3. 3 Confirm the selected records are authorized to share.

Create and review the export

The export can include source context only when the source preserved enough information for that context.

  1. 1 Choose the export option in the desktop app.
  2. 2 Pick a destination folder with enough disk space.
  3. 3 Wait for export completion.
  4. 4 Open the exported packet and confirm the expected records and media are present.

What to send support if this is still unresolved

  • Export format used
  • Approximate number of selected records
  • Destination drive free space
  • Any missing media or error message
