Know the recovery boundary

Proof Me Hard cannot decrypt an encrypted cloud backup without the vault password. Support cannot reset, reveal, bypass, or recover a lost vault password because the password is not stored by Proof Me Hard.

  1. 1 Check your password manager for the exact vault password used when backup was created.
  2. 2 Check any secure notes or records you keep for recovery information.
  3. 3 Try only passwords you are confident are yours; repeated guessing can waste time and cause confusion.

Look for local copies

If the encrypted cloud backup cannot be decrypted, a local Proof Me Hard library or original source export may still be usable.

  1. 1 Check the original computer for the local working library.
  2. 2 Look for the original backup, official export, or Capture package used to build the library.
  3. 3 Contact support if you need help locating local app data or deciding which source path to re-import.

What to send support if this is still unresolved

  • Account email
  • Whether the original computer is still available
  • Whether original source files are still available
  • Exact restore message

Contact support when the steps above do not resolve the issue.
