Installer warnings
Confirm the installer source
A new publisher or beta installer can trigger extra Windows prompts. The important step is confirming the installer came from the official signed-in download page.
- 1 Do not run installers sent through email, chat, or third-party download sites.
- 2 Sign in at proofmehard.com and open the download page.
- 3 Download a fresh installer from that page.
- 4 Compare the filename with the current download page expectation.
When to contact support
- 1 Contact support before continuing if the installer came from anywhere except proofmehard.com.
- 2 Contact support if the warning mentions a different publisher, damaged file, or blocked administrator policy.
- 3 Send the Windows version and a screenshot of the warning.
What to send support if this is still unresolved
- Windows version
- Installer filename
- Screenshot of the SmartScreen warning
- Whether this is a public installer or invite-only beta
Contact support when the steps above do not resolve the issue.
